Sara has over 14 years experience working professionally as a face and body artist. Her uniqueness is her versatility – she can literally paint anything! This allows her to work to pre designs or completely spontaneously. Creating a myriad of looks and styles – from small bejewelled eye designs, fun children’s faces, to full scale transformative body art.
Sara is a trained artist (BA Honours Illustration, Art). Her background includes work in theatre costume, design, fashion, graphics, mural making, and illustration.
As the founder of Sara’s Parlour Face Painting, some of Sara’s most memorable achievents have included working on expressive make-up for Britain’s Got Talent’s opening sequence – featuring Ant and Dec. Providing a team of painters for DHL’s themed UK winter ball, and face painting for a three day Snazaroo photoshoot (the No.1 face paint brand).
Sara also chooses 3/4 charitable causes each year to donate her time & skills for free. These have included ‘Make a Wish’ Foundation & other people & charities. Supporting those with life limiting/terminal illness, & children who have lost parents at a young age. She has also given to those seriously affected by the Covid 19 virus.
Sara is a face & body art tutor for FABATV The No.1 Face & Body Art channel! Featuring the top face & body artists from across the planet. Sara also regularly teaches at her base in Birmingham, & for face & body art schools in the UK. Sara demonstrates her skills regularly at the best UK jams.
Sara regularly updates her kit and skills, in the last year alone she has attended a number of courses – including tribal body paint, animal faces, festival eye designs, special effects, retro make-up, one stroke design, & butterfly faces. She also continually works on developing her own style and techniques, and enjoys teaching others all about the exciting world of face and body painting!
