Sara’s Parlour Face Painting is a contemporary face and body art company based in Birmingham UK. We offer both design & entertainment services. Catering for both children and adults. For all events in Birmingham, West Midlands, & UK wide, we can even be booked to work abroad! (Please see our client list). Established in 2007 (We’re celebrating 17 years this year!).
Sara and her talented team provide beautiful designs and walking works of art for every type of client and event. From small private parties to large scale/multi location corporate bookings – In short anything involving face painting, body art & physical transformation!
Alongside face and body art Sara’s Parlour offers a range of other services, including: Balloon modelling, Balloon decoration, Children’s entertainment professionals, art workshops, mural art & window art painting & more!
Sara is a trained artist and also teaches face paint skills one to one for adults, and for children’s workshops (for both parties and learning).
Sara can be booked as a sole artist, a duo, or a larger team – handpicking just the right artist/s for you. Whether it’s pretty and fun children’s face painting for a birthday party, or sophisticated and exciting adult looks for special occasions (such as birthdays, weddings and Hen parties/Do’s). All artists are highly creative, artist trained, reliable, and PLI Insured. DBS (CRB) checked artists are also available. Teaching & Art/Craft Workshops – Sara teaches all ages the amazing art of face paint – for professional use, groups, or just for fun! Sara can also be booked to teach general art skills to groups or to hold art workshops creating all sorts of crafts at both birthday parties & corporate fun days.
Sara’s Parlour News in 2023/24!
Sara won ‘Artist of the year’ 2023 at The National Dyslexia Awards! The judges said: “Sara has shown the true meaning of dyslexic ‘out of the box’ thinking to get where she is today”. Her “art has the power to change how a person feels inside, how they express themselves outwardly, & how they connect with the world.”
Sara is a very talented artist & it’s admirable to see the care and attention to detail that goes into her work, especially considering it’s transitory nature. Her work has clearly touched the lives of so many people in a positive way.
Post pandemic we’ve worked at many fantastic parties & corporate events <3 Just a few clients this year: Face Painters for: The Eurovision Song Contest! See the video below! We painted ‘super fans’ specifically for the event on the specially designed Eurovision train! Birmingham Rep performances, Hippodrome Chinese New Year Celebrations, Jaguar Birmingham, Halfords West Midlands, & worthwhile causes including The amazing Transplant Games for children. Also a whole host of private parties & celebrations – we may have even painted a celebrity or two from Aston Villa Football Club! We’ve also created window art for Harley Davidson at Christmas, & Balloon decoration for Sandwell Pride celebrations!
News in 2021 – Sara is now a FABATV instructor!! FABATV is the largest & most respected online tv channel for everything face & body art on the planet! – with the best instructors from across the world!

We have also spent every week during lockdown learning the beautiful art of balloon decor & twisting! We cannot believe how we have progressed now creating unique designs & bespoke balloon decoration for parties at homes & venues. Along with a small team of balloon decorators and party balloon twisters & modellers – no job is too big for us! We are simply in love with the Bubbles! <3
News in 2019 – 2020 – We had some amazing experiences working across the West Midlands and even UK wide! Our face painters and entertainers brought colour and fun to guests at the worlds largest Primark store which opened here in the Midlands. We also worked for other store openings including the new H & M store Birmingham. Other fantastic events included: painters for The Royal Shakespeare Company, The BBC, Porsche, British Cycling, Gardeners World Live at the NEC. We even got to paint dinosaurs for the Museum of Geology! Sara taught many new and experienced painters the art of face and body art – both at her base in central Birmingham, and for a face paint teaching school in Hertfordshire near London.
News in 2018: We worked for HSBC, City rides – a nationwide cycling event. Booking 28 painters – from the South of the country right up to Scotland! Award winning! – We came first in a magazine competition collaborating with a talented eyelash artist – our winning entry can be seen below! We also worked with the amazing British ex soldier Hannah Campbell on a body paint – which illustrated her incredible journey of injury and PTSD & recovery, after surviving a bomb in Iraq. Other highlights of 2018 included working for the BBC!! We created faces for the hit TV series Marrying Mum and Dad! (CBBC). 2024 – Post the pandemic we are able to undertake face & body art for both indoor & outdoor parties! We at Sara’s Parlour put the health and safety of our clients at the top of our priorities! We only uphold stringent health and safety practices during our parties & events. Cleaning in between all guests.
